This summer I learned a valuable lesson. Never bite off more than you can chew. I challenged myself to trying all the sno ball flavors Sand Springs has to offer. With summer halfway over, I’m not even a quarter of the way through Harper’s Hut’s endless flavor creations. Harper’s offers more than 80 flavors, not including their sugar free options, plus literally hundreds of original creations unique to the Sandite shaved ice chain. Harper’s Hut was founded in 2014 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and has since expanded to Glenpool, Mannford, and Sapulpa. Their menu is always changing! Yes, the classics, such as the famous “Volcano” and “Harry Potter’s Butterbeer” are always still around. However, Harper’s introduces a new flavor of the day every single day! Harper’s employees sit through constant taste-test meetings with loyal customers and brainstorm the best flavor combinations to bring to the public. Harper’s keeps a manifesto of all their hundreds of creations, and just recently attached a new extended menu to the side of their hut so that you’ll never run out of new options to experiment with. Harper’s easily outdoes the competition in offering the largest spread of delicious sno ball flavors in Sand Springs.

Will Nozak, the owner and founder, likes to tell people “you can create anything at Harper’s Hut.” Not only can you create memories that will last a lifetime, and friendships too, but you can create a delicious dessert all your own.
