Harper’s Hut shaved Ice started in 2014 by William Nozak and his wife Lindsay Nozak. When the Sand Springs shaved ice hut opened it changed the way they would think of snow cones forever. Harper’s Hut is a place that any family can enjoy. Their selections of toppings and syrups seem to be limitless. My personal favorite is the strawberry cheesecake with animal crackers as toppings. I have never seen such a unique looking shaved ice stand in my life. Sand Springs shaved ice will never be the same now that Harper’s Hut is in the game. They have a lot to add the the Sand Springs community. The kids can play with jump ropes, corn hole, frisbees, and more. Every Friday the hut has a movie night that they play on a giant blowup projection screen.

What is it that you are looking for in a snow cone? For me it’s the experience itself. When I walk up to to a shaved ice stand I expect to have a pleasant experience. Harper’s Hut has the best customer service I have seen for Sand Springs shaved ice. Music is always playing outside of the hut, the employees will always greet you with, “Welcome to the hut,” all of the toys always seem to be brand new. You can tell that Harper’s Hut really prides themselves on customer service

If you are looking for a great way to beat the heat this summer Harper’s Hut is the place to do it. I would definitely recommend taking the family out to see what they are all about. The movie night is especially great. Where else can you get a snow cone and a free movie? Just bring a few blanket or chairs and you are set to go. They even have popcorn and drinks.
