William Nozak founded Harper’s Hut in the summer of 2014 with his wife Lindsay. The first year of opening the hut they were able to raise thousands of dollars for the local community. William Nozak (Founder of Harper’s Hut) explained to me that the most important aspect of the business in his mind was the customer. William says, “At Harper’s Hut you are family.” William believes that is important to treat every customers like family, and instead of calling them customers the Harper’s Hut team refers to them as “guests.” When you are looking at the menu and just don’t know what do, the HH crew will be sure to help you out and treat you like a friend.
Have you ever asked yourself, what am I going to do on this hot summer day? At Harper’s Hut they have plenty to do for you and the family. If you sit outside the Prattville shaved ice hut you should expect to see kids playing in the grass. Harper’s Hut offers a variety of toys and games to their guests. You will see kids playing jump rope, corn hole, sidewalk chalk, frisbee, and more. The parents will also have a great time playing football, playing with the Wii U Console, or simply jamming out to music that is linked via bluetooth. Friday nights are the best nights that Harper’s Hut has to offer because that is the night they host “Movie and A Sno Cone.” Movie and A Sno Cone is a family movie night that is free of charge to any Harper’s Hut guests. Prattville shaved ice is in for a big treat, Harper’s Hut sets up a giant inflatable movie screen and projects a family friendly movie onto it.
