In 2014, William Nozak had a vision. A vision of a family-friendly fun environment where people of all ages could hang out, create memories, and forge relationships that would last a lifetime. Together with his wife, Lindsay, and business partner, Daniel Nix, he made that dream a reality in the form of Harper’s Hut Shaved Ice. Harper’s Hut’s Sand Springs location opened in June of 2014, and less than two months later was declared the “Best in the World.” A year later, it’s been nominated once again, and you can vote for us right here! In 2015, Harper’s Hut expanded to Mannford, Glenpool, and Sapulpa, and the same sense of community love has been brought to each of our new locations. There’s a lot of reasons why Harper’s was voted the Best in the World. For starters, our ice is the finest on the market. It’s perfectly shaved to soak up the syrup and be soft as actual snow. Don’t even get me started on the syrup. Before we ever add a new flavor to our shelves, our official Taste-Test-Team compares it to the equivalent flavors from vendors across the country to ensure that we have only the best of the best. Then there’s the creations. Harper’s Hut’s original creations are to die for. The “Volcano” is easily the best Mannford sno cone you’ll ever have, and our “Harry Potter Butterbeer” is identical to its Universal Studios’ counterpart. Today’s carefully crafted gourmet Flavor of the Day is “Black Raspberry.” You can even add a scoop of real ice cream to it, or any of our creations!
