Harper’s Hut Shaved Ice is a first generation shave ice company. We model our products similar to how they do things in Hawaii. Adding ice cream, nuts, chocolate, bears, sprinkles, sour worms and ropes, marshmallows, Li Hing Powder, salt, limes, spearmint, Oreos, whip cream, our secret house cream, cheesecake, etc, etc. On any given day, we have 5-10 toppings in our store that are not listed on the exterior menu. Plus we have a secret booklet of combinations inside, so if your favorite combination isn’t on our board, no sweet we can make it too!
Shave Ice is traditionally from the islands and in the US mainland; it was further developed in New Orleans. In fact, many of our favorite vendors are located in New Orleans. Harper’s Hut Shaved Ice is first a leader in the shaved ice business. Our roots are deep within our communities on the serving and pleasing customers, side of things. Only recently have we hit a critical mass with the amount of gear we own and decided to start leasing and renting it out to the public.
